Forgotten Master Password
Unfortunately, Bitwarden does not store your master password, and there is no way to recover it.If you have forgotten your master password:
- Use any emergency access granted to a trusted contact if set up.
- If you cannot recover the password, you will need to reset your vault, which will erase all stored data.
- To reset your vault, log in to Bitwarden, click Settings > Account > Delete Account.
- Create a new account after deletion and start over.
