Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Log in to your Bitwarden account.
  • Go to Settings > Two-step Login.
  • Choose your preferred 2FA method:
    • Authenticator App: Scan the QR code with an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy.
    • Duo Security: Follow the prompts to set up Duo Security.
    • YubiKey: Insert and configure your YubiKey.
  • Enter the code generated by your chosen method.
  • Click Enable to activate 2FA.
  • Ensure you save any recovery codes provided during the setup process.
